Can you have too much rum?  Probably, just ask Kyle.  But we’re going anyway.  We’ve got a tasting lined up for Sailor Jerry Spiced and Savage Apple rum, and Flor de Caña 4, 5, and 7.

Sailor Jerry is a grown up spiced rum, and Savage Apple is their first flavor.  It has a definitely sharp apple flavor on the nose, but goes down super smooth.  I think I’m going to keep a bottle of this in my freezer for the next time people show up at my house.

Flor de Caña is another staff favorite, too.  It’s a key ingredient in Jacques “world famous” pina colada story.  (We’ll see if he wants to make any for the tasting…)  Flor de Caña is a velvety smooth, tasty rum from Nicaragua, and it really showcases how good rum can be without adding anything to it.
